Professional services of a social worker are not covered by OHIP. However, they may

be covered by your extended health benefits plan (GWL, GSC, BlueCross, Manulife,

OTIP) or another third-party payor (WSlB, VQRP). Please

contact your benefit plan provider or your Human Resources Department to find out if

your plan covers the services of a Masters level SocialWorker (MSW) registered with

the Ontario College of Social Workers (RSW).

Christine is a registered provider with the WSIB, VQRP, CICB.

Registered socialworker (RSW) services may be claimed in Ontario as a medical

expense for income tax.

Payment may be made by cash, cheque or e-transfer due at the time of the

appointment.

A sliding fee scale is available when finances are a barrier to getting therapy. Please

contact Christine to discuss.

Your appointment is reserved for you. Please provide at least 48 hours (business hours, weekends not included in the 48 hours notice) if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. However, there will be a late cancellation charge of one-half of your session fee if 48 hours (business hours) is not provided to cancel or reschedule the appointment. A full session fee is charged if you fail to show up for your appointment (no show). You will be invoiced for late cancellation/reschedule or a no show. Your attention to this is appreciated.
